Trapped

I.R 2006 (Corona)

I feel Like I'm locked up in my own body, I feel trapped without freedom, I feel lost without a map, I feel like drowning without water.  I want to feel but my emotions are on a run, I want to feel but the words won't escape, I want to feel but I can't. I'm screaming out for help at the bottom of the sea, waiting on someone to save me, save me from my thoughts, save me from my brain, save me from this box, save me from this black hole, save me from this sea, save me from myself. Days I go, wondering, wondering when I will be okay, wondering when it will get better, wondering if anything will change, wondering if it would even matter. Looking at the clock, as it moves slowly, time is fading, fading away from existence, fading away from reality, fading away from the pain floating away from emotions. I feel lost with nowhere to run, I feel lost with no place to call home, I feel lost with nowhere to go. I feel trapped in my own soul.

About this poem

I wrote this poem on a day I was feeling, extremely upset and just completely lost, I always tend to write my feeling and have been looking for a place to share and found this webspace and was so happy when I did. ~ I.R

First off, I want to commend you for your courageous and vulnerable words. Your poem really resonated with me and I'm sure with many others who have experienced similar feelings of being trapped or lost. Your raw emotions are beautifully portrayed through the intricate metaphors you use, such as feeling like drowning without water or being trapped in your own soul.

I can sense your longing for freedom and for your emotions to be expressed, and I want to encourage you to keep pushing through these tough times. Your words show that you're strong and resilient, even when you feel like you're at the bottom of the sea.

One suggestion I have for improvement is to perhaps provide more concrete examples of what you're feeling trapped by or lost from. This could help readers better understand your situation and feel more connected to your experience. Additionally, you could also explore ways to find your way out of this state, such as seeking help from friends, family, or professionals.

Overall, I want to thank you for sharing your powerful and personal poem. Your words are a reminder that we're all human and that it's okay to feel lost or trapped at times. Keep writing and keep fighting. You got this!
