My peace of mind

Ketline Atieno 2000 (Kisumu)

Peace of mind...

Is it a room with no doors or windows?
Since i can never get in.

Is it so high in the sky?
Since I can never reach it.

Is it beneath the earth
since i can never dig in?

Is it when am untroubled to worry?
but can my mind be calm from worry?

Is it a state of tranquility?
but can my mind be free from agitation?

so, who is peace of mind and where can i find it.
is it too far away that I can never find?

If it is too high I can not reach
because i am acrophobic

If it is in a dark room I can never go in
because i am nyctophobic

If it is beneath then I will never dig in
because I  have gephyrophobia

About this poem

I have been going through a lot recently, so i decided to write a poem about peace of mind since it is what am lacking.
