For every wish
A child makes
To see their mom and dad
For every wish
A father has
To hold his newborn son
For every wish
A mother has
To make her child smile
For every wish
A person has
To see their hearts desire
For every wish
A solider has
To see peace throughout the land
For every wish
A special needs person makes
To be able to see or walk or hear again
For every wish
An angel makes
That all people enjoy heaven above
For every wish
That the earth below and the sky above
Shows the beauty its Creator intended
For every wish
That every brother and sister
Find the keys to each other heart
For every wish
That a kiss can make
Deep within the heart
For all these wishes
And all the wishes humanity has
I wish the wisdom to think them and the humility to use them wisely
