Boredom

buzzpain 2008 (Philippines)

Day and night
Hoping the time of rest would come
As I followed the rays of light
Never did I succumb

Endless thoughts of what I could do after I succeed
And thoughts of being freed
Demolishing every wall I passed through
Finally, what a majestic view

As I triumph in the tranquility
I am merry for not getting triggered
Suddenly, a struck of vulnerability
I didn’t realize how long I have lingered

With nothing to do,
An unpleasant feeling grew and grew
It may seem that I’m burnt out
My thoughts ran with endless doubt

No thoughts left to ponder
My thoughts are done to wander
In a trice, an assumption soared
“I must be bored”

About this poem

I was so bored so I wrote something about how it feels.
