And the eras I remember...

Laxmi Singh 2007 (Prayagraj)

On the land side, I stood still,
Where the happy squenched memories kill,
As if there's a poetry sung to thee
And afresh, it echoes to me.
Oh! I don't forget, those sweet regrets,
Some painful farewells, and some joyful mets Ah! Is this the same weather
Where all little happiness used to gather?

On the eve of every other day, I recall, had my fellows assorted,
There in the crowd I used to be, unaware how it went amorted!
A journey made an epoch, and it essayed a story,
Inks did spill in reflex, since then, never happened a glory.
Why temporary stay the people?
Why interim abides the gay?
I love it to the fullest, if endings made it all happy,
But Alas! Sad it is neither, nor merry it is,
What do you expect, If I say, sketchy is all what it is?

Incomplete some stories stay,
But Oh! Look at man's biased judgement,
It's only with an empty tale, you can end with all amendment.
Yes, This' the pros it has got
It's to you, the edge of chronicle has been brought.
And forever know, my dear lonely,
Travel across the globe, it's the pen you'll find only;
Which encapsulates the feelings of all, since century,
I bet you, it's the just, who never judges, eventually.

Drastic changes, like abrubt shifted 'forevers' and an outcasted era,
Nevertheles, some end I'll consider,
And that's my story, that's all I remember.
