A place of death

Love is not sweet like they say,

it cast spells and blind those who bares it,

love is bitter and gully,

it leaves little taste of sugar down deep in the early mornings,

you end up with red eyes,

flooded with blood overflow from the heart,

sliced into pieces like beef and broccoli,

Alas
who you love hates you,
who you hate loves you,

love is drama and theatrical,

you must act to impress or you are played to impress,

tell the young to take caution,

let the elderly nod acceptance to the wisdom of my experience.

It rained last night,

each drops striking a memory,

I had a lover last raining season,

while it lasted, he faded away as the sun dried up the morning mist,

since then i have sat here upon shallow graves,

wishing and praying he had been here,

but he is never here,

and I'm alone here in despair and discomfort,

it is where love has placed me,

a place of discomfort,

a place of death.
