A Pain, A Hope, A Prayer

I need to laugh, I need to smile
I felt I was in need of it for a while.
I am in pain, I am in doubt
and I don't know when it starts

Feeling the pain, feeling the hurt
I don't know if it will heal or ever stop
Help me cope, oh help me, God!
A prayer of hope, a thing left in mind.

About this poem
