A journey

There is darkness, uncertainty
                                all around
closed spaces
no ray of light,
                     to dispel the gloom
I run but alas!
      no door to let me out;
My spirit scrambles
        in fear
       to hide,
in the world behind my eyes
 fearful darkness here again.
I wander and I persist -
Trip on rocks unseen,
sink to unfathomable depths
Burn I Lucifer's flames;
And then like iron -red hot
am then we'll wrought
  at hands of heaven's angels,
to the form
    Of an altar -
On which shall preside
The Deity -
A Lamp
   -of knowledge
       Of Wisdom
         Of Peace.
My spirit -the Altar
   Shall rejoice;
Resple,
Joyful,
Enlightened
     At Peace.
