At Night We Rest

Late at night, we lay in bed
Visions of hopes and dreams, In our heads

Crickets chirp, as we rest
The moon shines and the stars look their best

We rest at night for the next day
But before kneeling to pray

We pray for knowledge and for sight
Before we lay down to say goodnight

About this poem

This poem was written about normal people, who lay at home in their beds, happy and dreaming, while the moon shines through the window and the night is clear and the stars are out.
