A Poem A Prayer
My mind runs rampant, Many thoughts, many fears with few answers
Yet, Lord, You help me through
My heart feels unhealable, broken, torn, shredded to pieces
Yet, I know one day through you it will be healed and whole again
Through these different seasons of life, with the different hurts, pains, and tears that have fallen, you my Lord have seen me through
With each recurring trauma that raises its ugly head, you my Lord comfort and help me through
I know I can’t do this without you.
Continue to heal me, continue to shape me, and continue to mold me in the version of me that is needed to show you and all you have done. Glorify your name in and through my life.
I humble myself before you. I am to do with as you see fit
Thank you
In Jesus name
Amen
