Going Out Tonight

For in just a little while now
The rain is gonna stop
And when it does I’m going out
For pizza with my Pop
I don’t need any reason
So, I will not ask Him why
It’s enough for me to be with Him
His love still gets me high

So, ask yourself and tell me
Where will you go to tonight
Will you go out with your Father?
Or will you go out to fight
When I go walking with Him
I need never lift my hand
He fights the battles for me
To accomplish what He’s planned

And then He shows me kindness
And mercy mixed with grace
He feeds me from His table
As I look upon His face
Jesus is the author and perfecter
Of our faith

So, come on out and eat with us
With Him there’s no disgrace
He will not make you eat it
But if you take a taste
You won’t be going back again
To all this world’s waste
