Alone

Million miles from home, all alone,
The breeze passes by,creates no tone,
The vista leads to places with no spark of a
known zone,
The string moves, is it a new tune? Million miles from home all alone,
The earth moves, the sun shines,
Where is the movement inside your mind?
The bricks in the wall gaze at you,
Sharing their empty feelings,
Making you wonder, is this what the world is like?
Memories of a distant world flashing by,
The four walls around you, isn''t what you’d like,
Dreams unfriendly in the morning light,
Darkness of the night is a slight. Million...
Day after day, night after night,
When the heart sees no sight,
When the wheel of time turns with a stagnant apathy,
A friend is born, a creation of the mind,
A realization reveals itself,
You discover the other part of yourself.
