Vows to 20s

Took a trip to the motherland
Washed my soul with the cold winds
From the beach front.

At 21 and my future is already on the fence
But the hope for better days comes through with every wave.
With every wave takes away the feel of hate
And leaves me with the feel of greatness.

My pain begins to make sense.
No longer hanging on the fence.
I see the light on the paving God has me on.

All I need is faith and to never let my demons judge my fate.
The pearly gates will only open once my mission is fulfilled.
Follow your heart and build your temple.
Happiness is on your mantle
Once you remove the negativity off your cradle.

Let your mind free like you are daydreaming on sable road.

I know who I want to be. I’m never letting doubt into me. The sky maybe the limit
But my imagination is off the grid.
That explains how godly my mind works.
Too blessed to ever live average.
Too blessed to keep god’s creation to myself.

I will share God’s wisdom through my voice, my words, my passion.
I live for the lord.

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

It’s God’s wish to see you live freely.

-inspired by Hebrews chapter 13: verse 5

I wrote this down as soon as I began to love myself.
Look at the wealth that self love brings to my pen game
As I usher every word on the mic.

Feelings of immortality flows through my blood.
As my skin shreds away the bad ridden from a long life of pain.
A long life of short comings.
A long life of too many run in’s.
A long life of chances missed.

Now looking into a long life with so much to give.
Read a bit of God’s word to give me direction.
Now my mind can execute the troubles on my mind like the Roman’s did to Jesus.
Hold up… I’m beginning to sound like Caesar.

Way too Greek with the way I go about my literature.
It’s the gene of man who only vouches for perfection.
