Freedom in the 21st Century

Angelic B. Paladan 1992 (Lapaz, Tarlac)

I never hid nor advertise,
And didn't pretend nor disguise.
Remaining anonymously,
Keeping invisibility.

I prefer my transparency,
Feeling free, walking in fancy.
Not in the midst of spotlight,
Where I see nobody in sight.

About this poem

Most of the time, we often envied those we always see on social media, not knowing that most of those things were lies and staged to become famous and show off.
