DOWNTOWN VERSUS UPTOWN
~DOWNTOWN VERSUS UPTOWN~
Downtown on a fateful day
I had a deep thought
I thought I'd never seen myself messed up Next thing I saw a trailer fell off, off it fell That precarious scenario got me pissed off When I acted as a spectator I never doubted the life at downtown
Vehicles dangled and went ballistic, which made my belly run down.
Downtown ride turned a hell in a cell
As we journeyed from kilo to kilo
Heads and body rang bell
We got chocked up like the grain stored in a silo.
Downtown later had mercy on us
I spoke my mind, some even said It's now downing on us
But if the road is no longer accessible, we will start riding on horse.
Kilos older, we went downtown to uptown I had to compare and contrast
A juxtaposition of two feature (s)
Two features in complete contrast
Same creator but different nature.
My maimed feeling evaporated when I saw a voluptuous angel
She hails from uptown
She gave me a glimmer of hope that things will get better
I was bereft of words when I noticed she looks exactly like the apple fruit she held.
But uptown never cease to show us the stuff it was made of
Many times, I needed to lower my gaze Many girls innumerable in their base
We journeyed far and far apart and there was no time to waste
I looked no more because we were in a haste
The more you gaze up, the more you see your taste
The life at downtown and uptown is indeed a case.
