Daniel The Ace

Numan qureshi 2006 (Srinagar)

Once a warrior, Today a disgrace
It's the tale of Daniel the ace
Long ago, he was made to abase
In a war he was forced to face
It all started with a servent of a low race
He chose her over royals to embrace
Royals in anger tried to make her efface
He was seized from power apace
He left with her without leaving any trace
Royals in arrogance, tried to chase
But he took all the precautions just incase
Following she got a disease only he had to brace
Her death gave him a scare which was never to displace
He came back but no one gave him space
All his contributions were put to an erase
They forgot him, never again to say his grace
