An ode to the lost one

Api 2003 (Nagaland)

Ode

Is it a habit or more?
You won't be here for sure
To listen everything I 've stored.
Did you exaggerate things
Or did I over felt,
Whatever maybe, I  am still stuck
With your presence
But now I see only traces
Of your feelings and you.
You let me go like I was never yours
Then make me feel you care when you don't.

About this poem

It's a simple piece of my work expressing what most of us have gone through. That feeling of not wanting to give up on someone but still letting it happen because the other one has already, is what I wanted to convey through these words. Hope you all like it.
