A poet

It was a writer’s line being the flow,
Then came the Poet in just letting go.
A writer’s dialog being about a far off place,
I believe it had something to with those stars up in space.

A writer takes you into a world that glitters and shines,
Where love is like a poem that rhymes,
where dreams are easy to fulfill.
and a world of imagination,
takes us in.

If not for a poets imagination,
Words would have lost its bewitching sensation,
For the moon would have been only a large rock,
And life would just be a ticking clock.

A poet adds beauty and meaning to the littlest thing in our life ,
For what is life without these experiences ,
It’s a simple human body playing its role ,
Without having its pristine soul.

I am a 13-year-old author. Writing has always been a hobby for me. I have been writing for 6 years since she was 7 (2nd grade)in 2017 to 2022 (8th grade). I have worked with Austin McCauley, and have a profile in Allpoetry.com. I have written over a 50 poems and 2 books. Since turning my passion into a profession, I have written prolifically and is constantly exploring new themes, genres and ideas. I’m never happier than when I sit down at my desk putting the opening words to a new book or story on paper. I have a lot of hobbies too like running, cricket, drawing, singing, coding, calligraphy and more more…
