A light not shared

Marguerite Smith 1961 (West Virginia)

ts cold and dark within my soul.
Like a storm in my mind
I think of better times
The winds blow the tears fall like rain.
I have no home to call my own.
I lost it all from addiction
I beg by day for a piece od bread.

You have it all i see your smile.
Joy and happiness on your face.
your a light in this dark world
The light overshadows me when you walk by.
Theirs some thing about your presense that soothes my soul

Why do you walk by and look the other way
Please Tell me about the one who gives you serinity and peace
Share the light so i can see, maybe theres a little light for me.
Its growing darker and i wish i could see the light.
You came by to tell me about the one who saves.
Whats sad is you came one day to late.

My soul know will never no the peace or the light. Please share the light that burns bright
Dont judge me by my circumstances in life.
Remember i needed a light to save me from this dark and dreary life.
Oh what i might have been, only if you would have shared Jesus with me.
