Serving Multiple Purposes

Poetry,
For the one who writes it...
Discovers poetry serves,
Multiple purposes.
With a doing this on several levels.
And done to do,
Without a word heard...
From the writer to hear spoken.

Poetry,
Used as a therapeutic tool...
Has benefits that communicates,
An intention to suggest it to imagine.
To leave the writer,
Neither to admit nor commit...
As to what the writer meant to mean.
Or have it claimed,
There is more meaning between...
Lines written yet not seen.

Scholars of various languages,
Seem to know best...
How it is to interpret word usage.
With a giving of their unsolicited opinions.
Yet...
Can not find the right words to correct,
A mess to solve in their own native language.
But will address a confessing to understand,
Something written by a poet.
To describe in numerous categories,
The writer of poetry can not pronounce.

Over the years, decades and centuries,
Poetry has become...
A vehicle some believe is used to impress.

Although...
Those who recognize,
This kind of writing for what it is...
Accept it as one's way to express,
How they feel about what is witnessed.
Either themselves to experience.
Or someone else to observe.

And if this to acknowledge,
By others who find this to be offensive?
Perhaps they should discover other ways,
To communicate amongst themselves...
A living in denial that includes,
Delusion to fiction the reality of truth.
While picking from dollar producing trees,
Money to pay...
For protecting their mental instabilities!

'There are other ways to choose,
To insult the intelligence of others.'

'For years,
I have been looking to find those ways.
But it seems I am often confronted,
By those claiming I seek intentionally...
To offend their intelligence.
How is it possible to offend,
That which is nowhere to appear.
And...
How ignorant can stupidity get?
With it done wanting to be noticed.'

'I think your poetic way,
To express your unbiased opinions...
Has been achieved with a clarity.
A clarity,
No one can find...
Between your lines written.
With it believed you mean something else.'

'Well...
I do the best I can not to offend.
Or write anything anyone,
Can assume to interpret deliberately insulting.
I am a thoughtful caring poet!
With love felt to lift,
To the heights of enjoyed positivity.'

'Oh...
I am in need of tissue.'

'Even my own confessions,
Bring tears to my eyes.'

'Where is your bathroom?'

'Down the hall and to your left.
Why?'

'That's where I am in need of tissue.'
