I know a piece of me is in a piece of you
Each good thing you've said leaves a piece in me
No matter what you've done
And all the saddest grief
A tiny piece of prayer lives inside of me
Even as a foetus heartbeat beating to the stars prays its little prayer before it beats no more
A little peace of you
is a little peace of me.
