Add it Up; Divide by Seven

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

I do not really want to but I’m certain that I will
Count every word in all these poems while I am sitting still

I know the Spirit leads me into all the truth there is
But I just want to see how much I’m sharing with His kids

I want to tell them everything but I still do not know it
I only hope the Light of Love shines through me while I show it

The child of Christ is strengthened here with grace from God above
And I will give up everything to only see His Love

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, the Life and all I have
I cannot do another thing till I check with my Dad

The way, the truth and the life are only found in Jesus!
