Giving It My All

That feeling of being incomplete, of being forgotten and alone,
Running through my veins hidden underneath my skin;
Filling my mind with thoughts;
My hearts with fears,
Gradually tearing me apart;
From the tearing of my skin to the breaking of my bones;
Somehow making its way to my tender heart,
Keeping me from the things I love most;
Causing harm to those I care most for;
Making  me a beast in human flesh,
Restricted from my calling;
I stretch for a pull out of the shadows;
The urge to redeem myself;
As I plead for another for another chance;
Desperately in need to be  loved and wanted;
Using my ambitions to overcome  my urges;
Fighting like my life depends on it ;
Cuz it actually does,
I'm giving it my all.
