BROKEN WINGS

Sunidhi Sharma 2005 (Jamshedpur)

I ventured sugary lies,
When it all went busted I sighed,
Longing for some cheery swings,
Yet, it led to my broken wings.

I was insanely hypnotized,
And ponder I was seated right,
Endlessly blissful as it begins,
Yet, it led to my broken wings.

Why me? I probe myself,
Don't collapse and hear yourself,
Among all you've elite they sing,
Yet, it led to my broken wings.

I'm terrified here all alone,
Kindly blow in bag me home,
It's miserable here in springs,
After it led to my broken wings.

About this poem

Broken wings is something related when a person is not with you with being with you. Confused and slaughtered, people sob over their love, friends, best friends. When they finally or actually leave this is what happens to most of them.
