Breakaway

I don’t have many regrets in life.
But when I think of you,
My heart throbs, and My body aches.
The moment our eyes connected,
And you reached for my hand.
The moment I lost my breathe,
And all of my thoughts.
Forever regretting that moment.
For I didn’t hold tighter,
Or even a second longer.
For that moment I regret the most,
As it may never exist again.
