Ghost Town & Buffalo



One lone beast amongst the prairie.
Both relics and sentinels of long ago standing in silent companionship.  
Living and dying, one with sinew and great bone, another asbestos square.

About this poem

Reminisce about travels long and near ago. I traveled during Covid, in and out of my Honda Element and the Great Plains revealed one lone American Buffalo against an aging, abandoned shack.
