All I Had To Be

You left my heart in the storm
Left to waste and wilt
And all you scream through the rain
Is the denying of your guilt

You left me damaged on the ground
For vultures to retrieve
My open wounds are losing count
There's nothing left to believe

Ruby love is flowing out
My flesh will not stop ripping
The more you speak your puerile lies
The faster my heart is dripping

Tear stained filth is all I see
As the ebony surrounds me
Rosy auras cloud my sight
I've been all I had to be
