Broken

Here
    Alone
Encased in deafing silence
This
  Creeping
     Erosion of my mind
Devouring precious time

Shrieking monster
That no one hears
Empowers these invasive fears
Strikes me down
Into floods of shattered tears

As my light fades away
A Deepening darkness consumes
  every second
     Of every day

An Insignificant piece
  That was left behind
  A mere fraction
  Of a life
That once shined

Return to me
My beating heart
Whole and healed
No broken part
