olive green
The sky was green that night, as the colored lights lit up the sky.
I stared up into it and it was like I was looking into infinity. It went on and on forever.
As we sit there, in a courtyard bar, in Athens, and see the work of time.
Another drink, another night, another country I forgot my passport in.
And the sky was truly green, and olive oil soap with cheap magnets attached to the packaging, and stray cats, and ice coffee, and people who will yell at you to make sure you can hear them.
They painted the sky with olive oil soap, like how they painted the marbles to create the plaster molds.
How the lights seem like they can burn forever, until they don't anymore.
We try to make it last forever, but it bends at the shape of water.
