Everything I once loved about you,
Is still there,

Well, they’re still there too,
And so, I’m still gone.

But we both deserve love,
And I wish it could have been us,
For a whole lot longer.

So, I cry inside
To see you by the side
Of another,
But I’m happy if you’re happy.

No goodbye high-fives anymore,
I want to see you live your days,
Not wishing for this mermaid of a mirage on the shore.

I still can see,

Just not with me.
