Billy Ray Cyrus
Billy Ray Cyrus began his career,
With an achy breaky heart
I can't say why she leave him,
But she couldn't be to smart
Listening to him sing his song,
Entitled "Could've been me"
Learning of a woman,
Who was just to blind to see
You know course"Where'm I gonna live"
Was the next in line
Referring to a woman,
Who left him in a bind
Although "She's not crying anymore"
Followed shortly after
You know I think it's safe to say,
His love lifes a disaster
Coming up he sings a song,
"Romeo" is the name
You must agree with Dolly,
My feelings are the same
Rising star that he is,
Meeting fans in sure takes time
Unless of course, I've peaked his interest
With this little rhyme.
Seeing how I love him
And I'm not just some fan
❤️ If I had just one wish,
It would be too meet this man.
About this poem
I was living in Nashville at the time and noticed Billy Ray was coming to town and I want able to get tickets to the concert, we had just moved there and we were just getting established and money was tight, I was only 18 years old. I told my sister's I was going to write a poem and send it to the paper, maybe that way, he might see it and at least know how much I loved his music and him as a person. What happened next was dumb luck, his manager saw it and next thing I knew I was contacted by her, deemed the world's greatest fan got tickets and back stage passed for me and another person, I brought my younger sister. It was amazing more »
