A WOMAN

Jc Delenc 1977 (santo domingo)

a woman has just arrived
I know because of this tendency of mine to pursue utopies
a look becomes a thousand flashes of hearts
and each of them becomes you again

a woman just arrived
I know because of this tendency of mine to be invisible
time stops in it cradle when a woman arrives

a woman just arrived
I know from this fertile frequency
with what I see your smell
breaks off molecule by molecule
her voice and the moment becomes eternal

a woman just arrived
I know because I know
And there's no way that I don't know
for this time I know that a woman has just arrived

a woman has arrived
I know because there is nothing that looks like a woman when she comes
when she fills the space with herself
and how the horizon is lost far away
and it seems that she brings it when she comes.

a woman just arrived
I know because who has not seen a woman when she arrives
