A Healing Rain

A HEALING RAIN

The thunder cried out,
but it was nothing,
compared to the cries of
my broken heart.

Then the rain began,
tapping my roof top,
as if inviting me,
to come join its glory.

Then I went outside,
one touch from the rain
melted my heart,
thought I was done,
with this thing called love!

I sat in the rain,
and you know,
we spoke a lot
for it understood me,
and gave meaning to,
my broken heart,
I guess it was just, a healing rain.

About this poem

It talks about how someone was broken hearted and how nature–in it's essence through the rain, healed him.
