High Seas (O Captain, My Captain)

a Vessel i saw,
of the Clouds of the Sky,
rising up from the Sunset
and into the Night:
a great Ship of Grey
no Wave could o’erwhelm;
billowing Steam;
but just One at the Helm
to lovingly lead Her
into the later Light.

About this poem
