I had a rendezvous with the sea
Under a full moon
And the sea did speak to me
And my heart was full of jubilee.
The sea talked and talked unstoppably
And free free we felt we would forever be,
O that the love I have for thee,
My blue swinging waves,
Could sing unstoppably
And would never flee.
