A Candlelight Dinner

Having a sublime candlelight dinner with you,
infusing ambient air with long-lost romance,
long-harbored wish rushing into my senses,
your embrace to me captivates me to the core.

The blooming tulips ornamenting our table,
augmenting immensely this dusk's splendor,
the gusting wind parting away the fuzzy clouds,
restyling the murky shadows now and again.

Is that a crystal ball in enormous silvery ocean
or a nature’s clock gleaming precisely over us?
toppling leisurely on this celestial landscape,
the slaty moonlight embellishes the ambience.

I can hear somebody playing a piano suavely,
or is it somebody whistling a jaunty tune?
all this majesty leading me to a surreal world,
Oh! I wish to freeze this moment for a little while!
