The Cure
The essences of life
what does it mean
They say the Gods know
Life's but a dream
The world is changing in so many ways
I wonder why I don't pray every day
I look high above in search of hope
Only to find it's hard to cope
What do I see
is something there
Or do I continue to look and stare
to my amaze, I saw the light
it started to speak
With a voice of might
Dear human soul
Hear what I say
for what I speak
Will go a long way
The cure for cancer, have no doubt
you must trust in the herbs, you put in your mouth
eat barley, bloodroot and apricot seeds
red clover, cleavers are what you need
so you get headaches, this we must stop
drink basil tea and don’t talk a lot
ground ivy, lavender are your friends too
eat catnip, chew rosemary this you must do
lungs and kidneys you must keep safe
eat dandelions and coltsfoot for goodness sake
Irish moss, parsley, pomegranate as well
take them not you will feel like hell
there is much, much more for me to say
Take care of yourself and pray every day

About this poem
In the beginning, there was only Chaos. But Chaos could not create, only destroy. Some people might say that happiness is a form of Chaos. Others might say that it is a feeling or an emotion. The Cure is about just that. A feeling, an essence of life that is channeled by our imagination.
