there is a pause
so fine as the end of a pin
more eternal than the whole universe.
A myth confused
where only cold comes in
heat is found with a scream.
A pause, a pause
between you and I.
More than time
or water or wind.
Defined to myself
defined to yourself.
Between you and I
oblivion, no, interrupted scenes.
Between you and I
a pause we've built.
