Tell me
Jason Marriner 1980 (Pensacola)
I just don't know why I keep putting myself through this
All I really want to do is more than exist
I want to experience all the good life has to offer me
But it's not what I'm ever going to get apparently
There's been so much pain thrown my way
Yet my foolish heart keeps beating everyday
Trying like hell to keep hope alive in me
Trying like hell to find love wherever it may be
But now each night as I climb into bed
I pray I'll wake to find you're more than only in my head
But each morning brings with it the realization
That true love is only in my imagination
I can't go on believing that I'm supposed to be alone
I just don't know how strong I can be on my own
I grow weaker every day that you're not here with me
Tell me that your words are more than just fantasy
Tell me I'm not meant to spend my life in sorrow
Tell me my love is worth more than just something that you borrow
Tell me I'm wrong for how this feels
Tell me with you the love we expressed is real
