I'm a Hypocrite

I heard my phone ringing,
In the middle of the night.
I thought it was you who’s calling.
But I was not right.
It was a very long night…
I fought with myself,
But I couldn’t get myself to sleep.
Until morning came,
That’s the only time when I fell asleep.

Another day has come,
Without you by my side.
I cried more, smiled some.
I couldn’t put my worries aside.
Forgive me, myself, I lied.
I’m still clinging to hope
I am not really over you yet.
To tell you and the world…
I’ve moved on…Alas! I’m a hypocrite
