I came, I saw, I conquered

My life is my own, my life will draw out all things that don't suit me
My life is a continuum of a circle that doesn't stop
My life has meaning for me to prosper
My life is in the universe's hands

I told myself that I'm not who I used to be
Just better than the yesterday I was in
Just better than what was
Just better than one negative thought

This is me
This is what I am
This is how life can be
This is what the outcome will be

Now I'm speaking of life
Now I'm not perfect no one is
Life can be okay even on a not-so-great day
Keeping my promises to stay positive

The whispers of doubt aren't important
What I think of myself is important
I am important, I am not there anymore
I am on my stepping-stones to being grateful

Life won't always give you divine intervention
I learned how to see how great life can truly be
Life is a puzzle some pieces fit others take a while to put into place

Live your life
Love your life
Forget all your sorrows
Forget the cares
Remember what matters
And who you are
