I CAN FEEL THE SADNESS TONIGHT

I can feel the sadness today at night

I can write a thousand couplets this immaculate night
I can count the stars this starry night
I can listen to the breeze of the night that turns holy
I feel your chords note by note and to the sky you sing

On nights like this summer night I hold you in my arms
I kissed you so many and many times, we formed so many bonds
I adored you and I looked at you hundreds of times in your beautiful eyes
How could I not have loved her if she loved me still, cretin

I can feel the sadness tonight
I think she's gone with her love of reproaches
Hearing the silences, the mute notes, the faded arpeggios
Feeling deep in my soul that I've lost her

I can feel the sadness today at night
I can feel the immense universe on my shoulders
Even more immense, if you are not here
It is my destiny to be so helpless,... fantoche

I can feel the sadness today at night
My verses come out withered before they are born
And my positive soul falls away.... of yesterday
I don't care to take care of her now or....the night before last

I can feel the sadness today at night
Neither the starry night, nor the notes, nor the arpeggio
Her work is that my soul is voiceless, unprivileged;
Like not having my gaze in search of her gaze.

I can feel the sadness tonight
She thinks I'm a wolf singing to the moon
But I'm just a loner at the foot of the lagoon
And the inclement dew falls on me as a reproach

I can feel the sadness tonight
My voice howls in the wind, my ears dilate
My eyes search for his infinite eyes downcast
Will those wasted kisses be someone else's?

I can feel the sadness tonight
It's that love's quota is so small
And so immense the pain of oblivion
That my pencil hurts and dies repentant
