My Hiding Place

There is no life without my Lord.
Too many times I’ve tried.
I don’t want You to see my shame.
But there is no place to hide.

You saw me afraid and alone.
You sought me at my worst.
I didn’t look for You.
Infact You sought me first.

You preserve me from trouble.
You are my hiding place;
I will no longer run from You.
I except Your love and grace.

Please forgive this lowly sinner.
I fall short every day.
I now know I can’t do this on my own.
I’m Jesus name, I pray.
