T.O.X.I.C. - but not really

T. Truthfully speaking, you are freed from it
O. Organically, at its spiritual root, so it seems
X. Xtra vigilant in exercising boundaries
I. Indeed, Incredibly Insightfully Indolent
C. Carefully cheery, your peaceful disposition

About this poem

I immediately felt inspired to write this poem while I was on the train on my way to work, while listening to a YouTube video. It was about ways to identify a toxic person, and I decided to write about what happens when you walk away from a toxic relationship of any kind, using the acronym of TOXIC.

Truth resonates with all souls. I especially like the line about boundaries... wish I would have understood sooner.
