Mother Mary

She wore a ring of Mary
And kissed it every night
She said her prayers
And gave her mass
And hushed the neigh sayers might
She woke and washed her face like wrinkled waterfall
And gently said her grace
Before her final call
She looked upon the angels
Saying you have to give them gifts
For they have done us proud
Now dear could you please give me a lift
The angel laughed and took her home and she met god himself then sat beside the mother Mary on a cloud overlooking hell and then she began her prayers anew
Because she had learnt nought else to do.
