A walk in the dark

Sarah Parker 1961 (Rosenberg, TX)

Darkness can be a scary thing,
When nature begins to sing.
Winds will blow with a powerful hiss,
Frogs sing in time a sound of bliss.
Opossums wander trying for a meal,
Coyotes running their young for a kill.
Crickets making their violins spark,
And I'm here enjoying the dark.
