A Confession to You

My desire for you has brought nothing but pain,
Every time I see you, in pictures or person,
I feel as though I am impaled by a weapon.
Every second I see you, I bleed without a stain.

Nothing I have tried to do could stop this,
The pain I feel because I see you.
I want to forget you; leaving no clue,
But all in vain, now, I only wish.

If only I had gotten to know you,
Then this would have never been.
But it is just too late, as I have seen,
For I have already lost my chance to do.

You may not know me at all,
But that's not a crime to any.
I am not known to many,
No one will care if I fall.

Now all I can do is endure,
And hope you do not read,
This poem I made,
Of a confession to you.

Amerilie Ang

Married and currently 33 years of age with two beautiful daughters living in the Philippines. I'm a stay at home mom, juggling my life between diaper changes, sending my first born to school, cooking meals and the list goes on... I write, hoping that I can win someday and just letting the inner words drip down my fingertips. I write so I can paint my voice in paper and let the readers travel without moving their feet. I hope to inspire the readers to dream brilliantly. Writing is louder than spoken words; it speaks straight from the soul, and lands where it should be- the heart. more…
