A Night to Believe

bluejay1985 2002 (A state of panic.)

Come my sweet child
my dearest of the bunch,
why do you cry?
were your brothers mean to you again?
my poor baby,
come
take my hand and rush forth
towards the night
grab your knife
grab it tight,
don't lose yourself now,
you don't know when you'll be back,
if at all.
My soul is now yours
and your soul is now mine.
The ritual is now complete,
and the moon?
it turned a bright shade of scarlet,
like eyes filled with remorse reflected upon that ancient lake.
The mayans knew what it meant,  all they left was a vague description of what once was a book of dreams.
A Night to Remember, A Night to Believe.
we call it,
To stand atop the world and carry the sins of the people .
Be my sacrifice, young one.
Live out your days in the pipeline,
"pipe dreams", the program.
It's the next big thing,
it's the future.
Come with me,
to tomorrow.
A night to remember, A night to believe.
            perception
            observation
          no seduction.
