"The Death of Man’s Best Friend”
The worst has happened, he has slipped away,
I watched the loss, nothing can stay,
How the time reached zero, so quickly, no stop,
I must find my dog, who had just dropped.
You couldn’t resist, the inevitable, the sky,
The place of the heavens, seen in your eyes.
Everyone says goodbye; we came with terms,
I’ll miss you, man's best friend, my heart yearns.
