All good things must come to an end
All good things must come to an end
The feeling is beginning to fade
The memory, starting to slip away
I don’t want it to leave
My grasp on it slipping free
I suppose this is what time intends
For all good things must come to an end
You said you’d stay forever
But with those words, my heart you did sever
We promised to never leave each other’s side
But here I am, with nothing left inside
At least we have made amends
For all good things must come to an end
We talked every day
Never ran out of things to say
I suppose you could call it love
‘Cause it felt like something sent from above
This is one thing I will defend
For I don’t want this good thing to end
When I walked up to the school
I felt like a jewel
But when you weren’t there
We became a separated pair
I cried for hours after I lost my best friend
For I didn’t want that good thing to come to an end
Nothing has happened to us yet
But there is an upcoming threat
We could have to say goodbye
But when I think of that, my heart doesn’t want to comply
Don’t tell me our time is starting to descend
For this good thing doesn’t need to come to an end
I haven’t forgotten about you
You’re still apart of my crew
But now that you’re gone
A line through my happiness has been drawn
I can’t help it, I miss my friend
For
All
Good
Things
Must
Come
To
An
End.
